dr marlin j mckay (medical practitioner)
Dr Marlin McKay was born in Cape Town, raised in Swaziland, schooled in KZN and now lives in Gauteng.
He qualified as a Medical Doctor from Wits University in 1991; has been in private practice since 1993, and presently has one of the largest practices on the West Rand called Goldman Medical Centre
His special areas of interest are HIV/AIDS, Respiratory Medicine, Obesity, Health and Wellness, and Mood Disorders.
Presently he holds the following positions:
- Owner and Medical Practitioner, Goldman Medical Centre, Florida, Roodepoort
- Senior Pastor, Maraisburg Family Fellowship, Florida
- Head and Co-founder of Lighthouse AIDS Poverty Centre, a non-profit organisation that takes care of families living with HIV/AIDS in Noordgesig.
He became well known as “PDoc” - the Regular Medical Expert on South Africa’s longest running talk show, 3Talk with Noeleen.
He is also a regular guest on Bonitas Housecall on SABC 2 as well Sunrise eTV.
In addition, he has a number of regular radio slots:

He is in demand as a Conference Speaker for both Medical and Church events, and conducts numerous training seminars for Doctors and Pharmacists.
He is married to his wife Shantal for over 20 years, and has 2 children.
